I have been working on such a cattle vat, believe it or not on the “barrier island”. We had a series of surveys done and an environmental clean-up performed. The site is currently under 5 yr monitoring stage with DEP.
The property was owned by Disney, they were willing to sell to the county (I wonder why). The county is going to dedicate a portion to CR510 R/W and maybe make the a green-space or recreation area on the remainder. The site is very old Florida growth and unique in nature.
