That would be a 2.5 acre corner I think. Also, an AP is an "angle point". I actually used these notes to survey the west 1/2 of section 5 (an outlyer of the Big Cypress Reservation). When we ran out the notes with their grid bearings and listed coordinate system, we put the crew right on top of the BLM monuments (within 0.5') without ever visiting the site beforehand!
